MetroHealth System Campus Transformation Replacement Hospital
MetroHealth System is a major healthcare provider for the greater Cleveland region that offers advanced procedural services while providing community-based and mission-driven healthcare. The new 650,000 SF hospital bed tower will consist of 270 beds and serve as a major node in the Transformation Program, connecting to the existing Critical Care Pavilion complex. The transformation encompasses a completely new campus technology architecture which EDI is assisting with and includes the construction of the new Central Utility Plant (CUP). The associated tunnel connector construction includes approximately 57,000 square feet of space.
Mitchell Planning and EDI have teamed up to provide a comprehensive expert team to handle all of the medical equipment planning and technology systems design consulting for the project. The technology systems for the project include structured cabling, security and surveillance, audio visual, nurse call, RTLS, and patient entertainment and distributed antenna.
